*****
The 42K is a non-redundant chromatic kalimba, without repeated notes.
The redundancies were removed and then the blades shifted in order to allow the addition of additional notes; It therefore presents an alignment shift between tones (bottom layer) and half tones (top layer) , but an extra extended range that allows various possibilities in terms of playing, with 27 tones and 15 half tones, or 3 full octaves + 5 additional tones, Numbered from °°7 to 5°°, and making it one of the most wider-range kalimbas in the world.
