Collection: PIANIMBA
Halfway between a kalimba and a piano, discover the instrument we’ve named “PIANIMBA”!
Featuring the sound of the kalimba and a keyboard similar to that of a piano, it is played using 1 to 8 fingers and has numbered tines, eliminating the need to learn music theory.
The Pianimba will delight those with physical limitations that prevent them from playing the kalimba: whether due to arthritis, thumb problems, grip issues, fine motor skills difficulties, or an inability to lift any weight at all. Simply place the Pianimba flat on a table or – if you prefer to play on your lap – on a wooden board to set it vibrating, and let your fingers glide across the keyboard
Its extensive range, from 45 non-redundant keys to 51 redundant keys, offers vast musical possibilities – further expanded thanks to the magnets provided – whilst retaining our signature sound and the meticulous designs that are our visual hallmark.
