Chromatic Kalimba 37K POOPOOPIDOO UTOPIA- "BOULDER OPAL" - Rosewood

This kalimba has a clear, brilliant and crystal clear sound like a gem , with a little roundness! A soft, non-metallic tone that will suit all auditory sensitivities.

The utopia «BOULDER OPAL» imitates the stone of the same name by its resin work. Like everything in nature, the design that the resin draws on the wood is unique. Made on a base of precious wood called “rosewood” or “bois de rose” with a beautiful color that varies between shades of pink, brown and copper red, which recalls the copper part of the resin.

This precious kalimba will enchant your senses with its colorful and changing reflections, and its celestial timbre.

Which tuning should you choose?
All our instruments are tuned to 440 Hz , major scale. Whichever tuning you choose, you’ll be able to play the same pieces, as kalimba sheet music is written using numbers: the fingerings will remain the same, and the music will sound slightly lower or slightly higher depending on the tuning you choose.
As each piece of wood is unique, with slight variations in density, we select the tuning that sounds best after several tests. We therefore advise against retuning the instrument to a higher pitch. However, it is generally possible to tune it to a lower pitch.
