*****
‘DARK WATERS’ is a crystal-clear-like sound, kalimba with a slight hint of roundness on the attack of the notes. The tone is fresh and sparkly, slightly melancholic, with excellent sound projection and great depth. Unlike some kalimbas, which have a variation in tone between the bass and treble registers, DARK WATERS has a consistent tone across a single row of keys.
The note duration is medium to long.
Its soundboard is crafted from red oak.
Each “DARK WATERS” kalimba is unique in appearance.
They are inlaid with pieces of abalone, which are embedded in a deep black resin, creating a colourful game of hide-and-seek that shimmers depending on the angle of the light.
A shimmering, solitary spirit hidden in the shadows – delve into dark waters to discover the light.

Which tuning must I choose?
All our instruments are tuned in the major mode. Regardless of the tuning you choose, you'll be able to play the same pieces, as the kalimba sheet music is numbered. Choose according to your hearing preferences.
If you have specific needs or are unsure about which instrument to choose, you can refer to our guide HERE,.
C tuning is only really useful if you plan to play with other musical instruments or to write your own covers and sheet music by ear, using audio and without sheet music as a base.
To help you choose your tuning, you can also watch THIS VIDEO several kalimba models were used.
Since each piece of wood is unique, with slight differences in density, we choose the tuning that sounds best after several tests. We therefore recommend keeping this tuning in the future as much as possible
