This pianimba has a well-balanced sound, with a deep resonance across the low and high registers. The tone strikes a balance between warmth and clarity, featuring a deep, resonant echo with a touch of brightness.
MAUI is an abyssal spirit that carries you away.

Crafted from black walnut wood coated in resin, creating the illusion of a Hawaiian shoreline and its waves in 3D.

Let yourself be carried away by the waves, and dive into the depths of another world.

PLEASE NOTE:
Each piece of resin work is unique; it will resemble the photo but will not be identical. Please bear this in mind before purchasing.
Pianimbas are designed to be played flat on a table – this is where their full sonic potential is revealed. Playing on a soft surface, such as a cushion or your lap, can sometimes tend to dampen the vibration of some frequencies. In this case, we recommend placing a small wooden board (approximately 2 cm thick) underneath the pianimba to allow it to regain its full resonance!
The instruments are perfectly tuned before dispatch, but they may go slightly out of tune during transport. It is sometimes necessary to retune and readjust the instrument upon receipt, as is the case with the vast majority of musical instruments.
