A beautiful instrument with a rather bright sound. Its sound volume is soft, which makes it the perfect instrument for those looking for a discreet instrument.
The note layout is quite unique.
On the bottom row: like a basic 17 keys kalimba
On the top row: + 4 middle blades = kalimba 21 keys
+ all other keys = chromatic kalimba .
The 4 additional notes have been cleverly placed to be at the same level as the others and make fingering easier. 
So note that there are no #s in 1.2.3.and 4.
