This FLAT kalimba in French oak wood from sustainably managed forests is handcrafted by us! Oak is a wood rarely used for kalimba , but we wanted to offer you its warm and intimate sound.
Waxed with a non-sticky vegetable wax, this kalimba has nothing to hide, we keep all the small natural imperfections of the wood, the knots, the small holes that they can form, and the waxing allows us to enjoy the smell of wood which gives an instrument with the most raw appearance possible.
The sound is a happy medium between warm and crystalline, with great clarity, very soft, with excellent note sustain and beautiful highs. Magnificent sound that you won't get tired of!
