The tone is fresh and bright, and floats away; the sound produces a distant, solitary and slightly melancholic echo – ethereal, almost space-like. The note duration is medium to long, and the volume is louder than on the 34K version. Its soundboard is crafted from a light-coloured wood: ash.

Each “SELENE” kalimba is unique in appearance.
